Vancouver International Airport (YVR) has an extensive ground transportation infrastructure, providing many options for transfers to destinations in and around Vancouver.

Passengers can make their choices from affordable local buses, free hotel shuttles, fast commercial shuttles, convenient taxis or luxurious limousines.

Buses

Public bus services run from the Airport Station Bus Terminal to Vancouver, Richmond and destinations beyond. The Airporter bus runs to downtown Vancouver's more popular hotels as well as to the resort municipalities of Whistler, Vancouver Island and Washington State. Tickets for Airporter journeys can be purchased at the Airporter counter, from vendors located at pick-up locations or on the buses themselves.

Shuttle Buses

Shuttle buses operated by the airport run to the South Terminal, long-term parking facility and nearby hotels among other airport locations.

Hotel Shuttles

Major hotels in the Vancouver area are served by the Airporter bus service; those that aren't invariably provide courtesy cars to pick-up guests from the airport and transport them to their establishments. It is recommended that you check the availability of these services when you book your hotel room.

Taxi Cabs

Taxis provided by a large selection of companies are available from outside the Domestic and International terminals. All drivers are trained to deal with disabled passengers and to provide safe, courteous and considerate services to customers.

Limousines

A concession operated by Limojet Gold Express can be found outside the Arrivals areas of the Domestic and the International terminals. Limousine services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
