Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is Canada's second busiest airport, providing air access to Vancouver, Richmond and other cities in the southwest of the country.

Vancouver's airport offers an abundance of modern facilities and services including excellent duty-free and duty-paid shopping options, a large selection of bars, fast-food outlets and restaurants as well as free Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the terminal. Facilities at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) are well designed for maximum convenience and passengers should have no problem negotiating their way around the terminals. Passengers with airport or travel related queries will find information points located on the Departures level of the Domestic and International terminals; staff are trained to deal with a range of problems in a friendly and courteous manner. Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
Most of the airport's duty-free shopping can be found in the International Terminal, while a single outlet is available in the Domestic Departures area. Duty-paid shops are available throughout the airport, with the bulk of stores concentrated in the International Terminal. A large selection of shops is available, with popular names including 7-Eleven, The Body Shop, National Geographic and Tie Rack.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
Dining options are plentiful and passengers will find something to suits all tastes. Fast food is on-hand from favorites such as Burger King, Pizza Hut, Cinnabon and Subway, while restaurants and bars serving food include Elephant and Castle, Palomino Bar & Grill and Voyages. Starbucks, Roasters and other coffee outlets provide hot drinks and light snacks.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
Passengers will find ATMs, banks and bureaux de change situated in the International and Domestic terminals. There are 22 Internet payphones spread across the terminals and free Wi-Fi access is available in public areas and lounges. Both mobile phone hire and postal services can be found in the Arrivals area of the Domestic Terminal.
Business and Conference Facilities
The CDS Business Centre offers a range of business facilities including Internet access, PC workstations and fax and photocopying machines. Courier services run by Fedex and other reputable names are also available.
Disabled Facilities
The airport has high standards of care for passengers with special needs; wheelchair access is available throughout, while special toilets and telephones can be found in many areas of the terminal buildings. Special assistance is available on request.
Other Facilities
The airport has a good selection of facilities beyond those considered essential. These include: children's play areas in various parts of the airport, a dental centre, medical clinic, drycleaners, spa and a luggage and shoe repair centre.
